Transformative Mediation and Living Compassion Retreat

2. April 2025, 18:00 Uhr

This unique five-day retreat is a powerful, first-time integration of John Kinyon’s Mediate Your Life approach and Robert Gonzales’s Living Compassion practices. Designed for mediators, aspiring mediators, coaches, and professionals seeking to transform their capacity to navigate and resolve conflicts, this immersive experience will guide participants through a profound journey into both external mediation and inner self-connection. Facilitated by John Kinyon, Jürgen Engel, and Iris Bawidamann, this workshop brings together groundbreaking approaches to conflict and compassion that have never before been combined in this way.

In this retreat, you will explore a transformative approach to mediating both interpersonal and inner conflicts. John Kinyon will teach his five-step mediation model and nine essential skills rooted in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), offering structured tools to support deep listening, empathy, and resonance with others. These techniques are not only designed to help you resolve conflicts effectively but also to enable you to hold space for others in a way that fosters authentic connection and healing.

At the same time, the retreat will focus on the powerful inner work of the mediator, drawing on Robert Gonzales’s Living Compassion practices. This work emphasizes cultivating a quality of presence that is deeply grounded in self-awareness, inner compassion, and the ability to remain centered, even in intense situations. Through these practices, you will learn how to access and embody compassion, bringing a profound sense of equanimity and spiritual depth to your mediation practice.

This retreat is a rare and impactful opportunity to engage with both external and internal mediation in a holistic way, making it ideal for those committed to both professional skill development and personal transformation. By combining these two potent methodologies, Jürgen, Iris, and John will create a space where participants can cultivate an advanced capacity to transform conflict into opportunities for growth, connection, and compassion. Join us for this unique experience and expand your ability to make a lasting impact on others and yourself.
